Welcome to my Dare Page! I’m taking on
A Dare to Remember for the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
I have set a personal fundraising goal and am asking you – my friends, family and colleagues – to sponsor me. The goal I've set is $3,500. I just turned 35, and this represents $100 per year. I ask you to make a donation, as a birthday present! The money we raise will go directly to African grandmothers, children, and women – ordinary people who are doing extraordinary things to turn the tide of AIDS in Africa.
My dare has now technically ended, but I'm still accepting donations! I agreed to sport a
horseshoe moustache for an entire week. The week of Oct 16th to 23rd included two
public forums that I participated in, a wedding rehearsal as well as
three live musical performances in Peterborough, London & Guelph.
To donate online now, please select a donation amount from the "Sponsor Me" section of this page. It’s simple, fast and totally secure and will make such a difference to the incredible men and women transforming lives and restoring hope to communities in Africa.
The Stephen Lewis Foundation is a registered charity, so anyone
who donates $20 or more will receive an automatic tax receipt by email.
So please dig deep and donate now. Also, take a look at all the other amazing dares on this website.
Thank you!
